Silicio Solar has taken part in 1 Fair of Renewable Energies
Silicio Solar has taken part in 1 Fair of Renewable Energies (RENOVA). This Fair is
celebrated with the main target to reveal the development of the city of
Puertollano not only by means of the sources of traditional energy, as can be
the coal, oil or gas, but also by means of new energy models.

The president of Castilla-La Mancha, José Maria Barreda, has visited the Company
Silicio Solar located in Puertollano.
European Solar Industrial initiative: Investigation and innovation to accelerate
PILLAR GROUP has taken part in the General Assembly of the Photovoltaic
Technological European Platform. On the occasion of the fifth General Assembly
of the Photovoltaic Technological European Platform, 180 participants met in
Toledo to debate on the European Solar Industrial Initiative in the conference
with title: Placing the future of the photovoltaic energy in Europe
24th Conference and Exhibition on Photovoltaic Solar Energy in Hamburg
For the first time all the companies of Pillar Group took part in a common stand in the 24th European
Conference and Exhibition on Photovoltaic Solar Energy from the 21st till the 24th of September. A team
of representatives of each of the Companies of the Group assisted to the exhibition as well as to the
technological conferences and different meetings with the clients and the providers during five days. It
is necessary to underline that the Regional Chief of Industry and Energy of Castilla la Mancha, Mrs.
Paula Fernández Pareja honoured us with her visit to our stand and later to the Conference in the
Industry Forum of the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA).

Silicio Solar has generated 156 working places from the beginning of 2009
Silicio Solar has generated 156 working places during this year, so that nowadays its staff reaches
791 employees of whom more than 500 have permanent contracts.

Silicio Solar has participated with a stand in the Solar Power Fair which took place in Anaheim
(California) from the 27th till the 29th of October
The enterprise Silicio Solar has displayed its technology of silicon wafers production in the Solar Power
Fair which took place the last week in California. During the inauguration of the fair the Silicio Solar
stand received the visit of Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce of Spain Miguel Sebastian who had
a chance to get to know firsthand about the project of wafers production carried out by Silicio Solar in
Puertollano in a meeting with the Vice-president of Silicio Solar and Pillar Group Carlos Relancio.
